Bangalore, India Trip November 2016

After waiting 2.5 years since we acquired LSI, I have finally made the trip to Bangalore, India to visit the Broadcom site and meet with our team.  It was a very productive visit and I left with a much better perception of the level of talent in India.  I didn't meet many of the actual engineers - just the management team, but they are very strong and I'm glad that we have great people to rely on in India. The flight out was fantastic, as I flew Business Class through Frankfurt on Lufthansa. Flying on a Tuesday as a great idea - I had an empty seat next to me on both flights - I didn't think that was possible in Business class - but I'm happy it happened! Here are some fun photos of my trip:
View of Frankfurt from the 747 upper deck
The nice bathroom mirrors at the Courtyard Marriott
The awesome shower/tub combo in the hotel room
The living room in the hotel room
The Broadcom building sign - it still says LSI
Another Broadcom sign - I love the Indian text
The massive power substation by the hotel
Breakfast at the Marriott

The Marriott left me flowers and notes for staying here!
This scene is everywhere - a family on a scooter
The Bangalore Palace - the summer get-away for the Mysore Royalty
The palace gardens - very nice, but not accessible
Beautiful room where royalty would hold court
Another angle of the beautiful courtroom
Where the women would sit to listen to court proceedings
Cool elephant head - mounted next to first elevator in India
Courtyard in the ladies section of the palace - beautiful colors
Palace Courtyard where the men/women would relax from the heat
Random parade as we drove through Bangalore - traffic did NOT stop
Another Parade photo
The taxi driver brought me to the Lotus Pavilion for Lunch
The Lotus Pavilion was surrounded by a moat of water - very relaxing
The "Good Luck Mutton Stall" - I had to take a photo
