Halloween Night 2016

Halloween turned out to be a really great day this year, but it was also very scary - for real!! Broadcom decided to do trick-or-treating on Friday instead of Monday due to the time needed to set up the Haunted House, so the actual day at work was pretty easy.  In fact, I had some good meetings and made really good progress on some key issues.  Then, I slipped out a little early and played golf with Shawn Murray - the last time I will play golf until next year - as long as I recover well from surgery next week!
This may be the only year I can say that I played golf on Halloween. I shot a 38 in heavy winds.
If you look closely, you can see that my ball was half sunk into the green - a very nice plug! I parred the hole and did not lose a ball all day!
I got home in time for our traditional Papa Murphy's halloween pizza and then Jeremy picked us up at 6pm with the flat bed trailer for trick-or-treating.  A few photos are below.  We would have taken more, but about half-way through the night, poor Dillan Jones fell off the trailer and was run over by the back tire.  Wow - were really scared!! Luckily, there were two doctor's on site (Jeremy Huff and our new neighbor's Jeremy and Tracie).  Nothing was broken and he ended up with just bad scrapes.  Wow - so scary, though!  Next year, we will get a different trailer, with rails, to make sure that doesn't happen again!
Halloween "Hay" Ride - A great tradition - but we need to stress safety!
Jarrett loved being a triceratops this year - and I loved having him cuddle with me all night!
Jantzen enjoyed his Ninjago Lego man costume - and this fun fake scary guy!
