Estes Park Vacation 2017 - Day #3

We were very sad to wake up to our last day in Estes Park this year.  Our family truly loves coming to Estes park each year and I'm very glad we've created this new tradition of coming up every year right before school starts to enjoy the beauty and wonder of Rocky Mountain National Park.  

We started the day off with a quick round of miniature golf - a "must-do" each time we are here.

Today, we did a horseback ride for 2 hours (everyone but Amy and Jarrett --> but Jarrett did get to ride a pony!). It was Jantzen's first time riding a horse for a long time and he enjoyed it.  His horse was a bit stubborn, but he learned to deal with it.  Ashtyn was definitely in her element and just loved riding her horse.

After riding horses, I took the 3 little kids to the little trout pond and we enjoyed catching some fish.  We caught 5 fish and they gave us a free one that someone else left behind.  It was really fun for Jarrett!
