After years of trying to get a design win with Brocade, we finally succeeded and released our first product with them, on the AR date published in the RFQ. Goldeneye4 was designed mostly out of India with a couple of xLSI guys in San Jose supporting. I added some of my FTC-based design leads to make sure things progressed well and the entire program was one of the best sucessess of 2015! Fantastic execution by both Avago and Brocade. I was very impressed.
So, right before High Adventure, I flew out for a quick trip to San Jose, just for the celebration with Brocade. We had lunch at Dave & Buster's and it was a blast. Rick and I played a ton of games together - he hung out almost exclusively with me, which was a huge compliment to me. I feel like I've done a great job getting "in" with the Brocade team and become the go-to man from Avago. Feels good.
