I can't remember the last time we did the rodeo at the Greeley Stampede, but I hope that we do it every year! We had so much fun, I might have to make sure we drive up to Cheyenne at the end of the month as well. It was really a fun time with the kids. I got home from work around 3pm and started mowing our field. I didn't finish, but got both side yards before we left at 5:30pm.
We got to the park around 6pm and the rodeo started at 7pm. It started raining about 6:15, which turned out to be good. I think the rain drove away many of the fans, so it wasn't as crowded. We were in the back row, but the seats were still really good. We could see everything. The kids enjoyed all of the event, but the human soccer ball game was probably the best!
You can barely make it out, but after the rain passed, there was an awesome double rainbow in the sky. Mom was watching over us and really enjoyed the rodeo as well!
One of the best parts of the rodeo is letting the kids ride a few rides and then play some games. Those rides are VERY expensive. Per ride, I bet they are more expensive than Disneyland and they aren't that great!!
