The Lamb of God

What a fun day! My flight got in around noon, so I stayed in the airport until 3pm, working on slides for my big Nokia meeting next week. Then, I met the family along with Ryan & Jennica and their kids at a park in Thornton. We had a blast - through the football, playing bocce ball, having dinner and playing on the playground. So much fun!

After the park, we changed clothes at Ryan & Jennica's, then drove to Downtown Denver and watched "The Lamb of God", performed by the Colorado Mormon Chorale and Orchestra. Wow! What an incredible performance - they nailed it! Amy, Ashtyn, Alyssa, Jantzen and I had such a blast.

We were worried we wouldn't have good seats since we were delayed by a huge number of police and firetrucks (photo below), but we ended up with perfect seats and the sound was awesome!

After the show, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert (take home). Jantzen enjoyed giving some money to a street performer.
