Now that Ashtyn is in the seventh grade orchestra, she's moved up to the "big leagues". She's 3rd chair, behind two 8th graders, but she's on a path to first chair for sure. It will be good for her to be motivated to work harder so that she can earn first chair. She really does love to play the Cello!
For the concert this year, they combined the Windsor Middle School, the Severance Middle School and the Windsor High school orchestras. There were 6 total orchestras. They each performed individually, then they combined for one last number. We didn't get photos of the whole orchestras - we couldn't really see where Ashtyn was sitting, but we did get to a shot at the end during the combined orchestra number.
