Super Long Day

Today started on Wednesday morning. I woke up in my hotel room at the Hyatt House in San Jose. I planned to exercise, but was so tired, I couldn't bring myself to make it happen. I felt no energy and I felt a little sick. I had been up to 1:30am working the night before, so I was exhausted.

I made it to work around 9:30am, joined teleconferences and started the day. Most of the day was spent trying to address action items with ZTE. It was a long day. It was also the day of the $1.5 billion powerball, so I joined a pool from work and threw out $20! (We didn't win, obviously...)

Anyway, after a long day filled with meetings, I arrived at the airport for my 6:30 flight. It was delayed 2 hours, which worked out since I was still doing slides for a big meeting with ZTE on Thursday morning (this morning).

I worked the entire flight, then drove home. We landed around midnight and I drove straight to work, staying there until 3am - but I finished the slides and was ready for the next day (which was the same day).

I slept for about 2.5 hours, then was at work for our 7:30am pre-meeting. Our ZTE meeting was at 8am and went for 2 hours. It was a successful meeting and we are starting to get aligned with them on schedule, which is a very good thing.

I was thinking of going to home to take a nap after the meeting, but I had meetings all day. Long story short, I finished my last meeting at 11:30pm and passed out! I'm writing this letter a few days later - couldn't write it on Thursday - one of the longest days I've had in a while!
