Field Trip to the PLC

Although the week has been super crazy and I feel like I haven't worked enough to earn my salary, I was volunteered to chaperone Jantzen's class field trip to the Poudre Learning Center (PLC).  Honestly, I didn't have a great attitude about this and I even had to take 2 different conference calls during the field trip, but in the end, I'm super glad that I went.  The kids rotated between 5 different stations.  They looked a the erosion of the river caused by flooding, got to guess the animal based on skulls, got to build a fire and roast marshmallows, and got to learn about river micro organisms and look at them in microscopes. It was a great field trip and I even got to walk about 5 miles that day.  I'm really glad I went!
