Guadalupe Service Project
For the past few months, the Windsor Stake has been involved in fundraising and other service related opportunities with the Greeley Guadalupe Center, which is a center to help get homeless families back on their feet. It is meant to be a "long term" place to give them a place to live with a kitchen and private bathroom so that they can get a job, save money, take some life training skills and really get on their feet. Its a really great concept and idea. The youth spent time for 2 weeks building chairs and staging appartments --> this was definitely one of the best youth service projects that I've been a part of and the kids really enjoyed what they were doing!
