Wow - my cute little Aubrey is getting so big! She had her dance recital today and it was fantastic! She was a head taller than every kid in her class and she was probably the only one that knew the entire dance. She did it effortlessly and she had so much fun. She didn't look nervous at all and she nailed it. I was definitely a proud papa!
The recital ended up being 2 hours long, even though Aubrey's portion was about 2 minutes. Typical for something like this. The recital was for all of the youth that are participating in the "A Dance Place" classes. There were quite a few kids from Ashtyn and Alyssa's classes at school too. I think that both of them may be interested in starting dance classes after seeing the entire recital. It was pretty good.
My day was crazy - starting with swim team, tons of meetings and then a customer visit. But, we did manage to squeeze in interviews with President Marion to renew our temple recommends. He actually met us at the entrance to the Union Colony Civic center, where the dance recital was being held, and he interviewed right there. A huge blessing and it worked out great. He's an incredible man! I wouldn't be surprised if he became our next Stake President. I really love the guy a ton!
