Little did I know that after such a fun night with the Priests, it was going to be my "last" as the YM's president. I'm glad that we ended on such a high note! It was a BLAST!
Here are some fun photos of the evening. We only had Trent, Andrew and Ethan, but it was still very fun.
The best part of the evening was actually afterwards. I took the group to Sonic for ice-cream after we played. Andrew decided to play a "trick" on the missionaries that were sitting out front. He pretended to be a "non-member" and asked questions. The missionaries went along with it, even though they felt like he could be pulling their leg. They taught him about the Book of Mormon and gave him a copy. Although it was a "joke", Andrew couldn't stop talking about the experience. He said he actually felt the spirit and he was very impressed with how well the missionaries did. I think it took him a little by surprise! What a cool lesson in the end!
I sent the Elders a text later and thanked them for being at the right place at the right time. They made a difference in Andrew's life - even if it was only for 15 min!
