Another bi-monthly visit to Shanghai - this time, probably the most productive. I came with one real objective - get a solid status update of all of the blocks and the top level. Once I had that, I was immediately convinced that the program is very much behind and its time to bring in the big guns! I've asked AJ to be lead, Sharon Nordick to do the floorplan, Kevin Woolf to be the TLR engineer and Mark Nevin to do STA. I think everyone is on the same page and we are going to start marching REALLY hard to the finish to make this design successful.
We have meetings next week with ZTE in Shezhen. I will need to spend some time working on slides this weekend to prepare. We need to let them know that we are running 1 month behind schedule, but we will need to decide the best way to let them know without making it look like we are too behind. It will be an interesting set of meetings. I'm looking forward to being done with this trip though. I want to be back with my family!
I've included some photos from our trip. We found a new little area to eat in Shanghai. It's not far from the hotel and the food choices are pretty decent. FINALLY!
I also included some great photos that Jack took on his run. I went running once, did the elliptical another time, then played basketball last night. It was fun!
The photo above is truly impressive! The colors really standout - Jack did a great job.
On Thursday, we took the BragiNG team out for lunch. We went to the Blue Frog. It was a great little restaurant!
