This was my first Blue & Gold Banquet as a father and as a Bishop - I did not want to miss it. The leaders did a fantastic job and really set the bar for future Blue & Gold Banquets - wow! The event was "Star-Wars" themed and many people jumped in to participate - super awesome!
In order to make the banquet - I flew home on Wednesday afternoon - getting to church just in time. I took an awesome photo as we rounded Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park - what a cool flight! We don't normally come this far north on our route home, so this was a treat:
