My first young women "New Beginnings" as the Bishop. I actually spent about 1.5 hours putting together a presentation for the event - taking the opportunity to teach the YW. However - Amber Hopkins and Amanda Hopkins took all of the time, so I just quickly told them all how much I love them and shared my testimony with them. We have such wonderful youth in our ward. Plus - we are growing like crazy! We have 70 youth in the Severance Ward now! It's crazy!
Ashtyn directed the YW as they sang this year's mutual them - "I will press on". They sounded so beautiful, I shed a few tears!
