After the temple, we sped back up to the house so that Jantzen could play basketball. He did such a great job and scored some baskets. I didn't get any photos, but needless to say - he was very excited about being on his team. Amy and I have been so impressed with his coach. He's taken Jantzen under his wing and Jantzen has really excelled! Huge confidence boost for him!
After the game, I took a few of the kids out to look at trucks together and to pick up the dogs from the kennel. We ended up looking at a great GMC Sierra that was 1 year old and had only 9k miles. What a great little truck. We pulled the trigger and we're very happy with our purchase. Super awesome truck! But, we were sad to see the little Maxima go!
The ordeal has once again convinced me that I HATE to buy cars. I think we were robbed of about $2-3k. I should have negotiated tougher, but I'm not sure they would have played ball. They only had the truck for 1 week, so they were going to stay high on the price....
Lesson learned tough - we bought the truck on a "whim" - we can't do that if you want a good deal. You have to spend time and research the options in order to save money. But - it was nice to get it over quickly...
