First Day Back to Work

With a half-page of new year's resolutions to motivate (or distract) me, I returned to work for the first time in 2 weeks. More importantly, I worked for an entire day for the first time in 2 months. My knee is doing much better and the more I exercise and stretch, the better it feels.

Overall, today was a really good day. I'm still very behind on emails, but I plowed through half of them yesterday (over 500 threads total). I'm on top of the important and critical issues, spending 4-5 hours on BragiNG related issues. We have another metal spin that we need to make happen ASAP, so the team is working through those details now.

I also came home a little early and finished building logos with Jantzen and Alyssa. It was fun to be home in the middle of the day and play with them.

Amy taught an awesome FHE tonight and we all wrote down New Year's resolutions. I'm excited for the opportunities that this new year will bring and I pray that I can stay consistent with the goals that I've set for myself so that I can find more happiness and peace this upcoming year.

I had 2 late teleconferences tonight - one with ZTE and one internally to discuss schedules and options for BragiNG ahead of Frank's meeting today. During that, I admit that I enjoyed watching the NCAA football National Championship between Alabama and Clemson. I was pulling for Clemson and although they got beat in the first half, they came back and pulled out a victory in the last second of the game. Such a fun game to watch!
