The morning was very lazy. We had french toast for breakfast, then laid around doing a few things, playing Wii and just relaxing. Amy had some things to take care of and this was the time where I pulled up the laptop and worked a bit.
We finally ventured out around 1pm for lunch. We went to the Olive Garden to celebrate report cards for the kids. They all did really good, with Jantzen and Alyssa getting straight A's and Ashtyn doing very well as well - all A's and 2 B+'s.
The big girls and Amy did some shopping after lunch while I took the little kids home so Jarrett could take a nap. I enjoyed reading my book (book 10 of the Ranger's Apprentice series) and doing a little church work. We also played some more Wii - we are hooked on our new Donkey Kong book.
Jantzen also had his first basketball practice of the season - he did really well, even passing the ball through the defender's legs today.
Finally, we had a great FHE. I taught the family to "Think to Thank" - making them recite that 10 times fast... We then wrote thank you notes to the Grandparents on both sides for Christmas presents. It was a fun evening.
I really have a blast with little Jarrett - he's such a fun age!
Here are some fun photos of our lunch at Olive Garden:
