November 2017 Gratitude - Day 6

I haven't done great on my diet and exercise plan this week, but I've dropped from around 255lbs at my highest point to 223lbs at my lowest in the l sat week.  That's 32lbs lost over the course of the last 2 months.  There's definitely more do lose and more effort to get to my goal of around 205lbs, but I'm very happy with the progress and I'm feeling much better about myself than I did.  So for Day 6, even though I've been struggling with my health and related issues for a couple of years now, I want to say that I'm thankful for my body and the health that I currently have.  I can still play golf, play with my kids, work full time and exercise daily.  I fully recognize that this isn't the case for everyone, so I'm thankful that I can still do these things and I pray that body will hold out for many more years to come so that I can continue to enjoy the high quality of life that comes from being active!
