November 2017 Gratitude - Day 21

Day 21 - the word of wisdom!  My sweet little sister Melinda has always struggled with the word of wisdom and it has unfortunately ruled her entire life!  She has recently admitted to doing Meth again and she's likely been doing more than that.  Now that she's crossed the road into drugs, she will likely do whatever it takes to stay high and avoid the reality of her life and her choices.  Tyler is now living with Dad and Robin and things continue to go downhill for Melinda - its really sad.  We bought her a car in cash and gave her the title - free and clear.  She's already gone into debt against it, probably got buy drugs, and she's probably going to lose the car over it.  We are not longer going to help her financially - we can't do it anymore as it is too high of an emotional pain to learn what she has done with the help we've given her over the years!  I'm thankful that the Word of Wisdom has kept me clean and away from the life that she's been drug into!  I just continue to pray that she will be able to pull herself out of her current situation, but I don't see how she can do that without hitting rock-bottom somewhere.
