Day 2 on vacation was a blast again. It's amazing how much fun you can have by sticking to something close to home and relatively cheap. We have really enjoyed ourselves.

For the morning, we enjoyed the incredible breakfast here at the Embassy Suites. Then we swam in the pool and enjoyed the hot tub. It was really fun! Around 12:30pm, after showering and getting ready for the day, we visited Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I must admit that their Giraffe exhibit is arguably one of the best in the world. The kids really loved feeding the Giraffe's and then we got to watch a couple of them actually running around in their exhibit. Truly incredible! Here are a few photos of our time at the zoo:
We spent 4 full hours at the zoo - pretty amazing! We didn't even have time to do much at the gift shop, which was fine by me!! After the zoo, we were exhausted, so we decided that we needed to find something where we could enjoy ourselves and relax for dinner. We chose "Fargo", an old-time pizza & pasta place. It was actually pretty cheap - didn't cost much - and the food was pretty good. We were all more thirsty than hungry in the end, so we still had leftovers.
We spent about an hour enjoying HGTV before falling asleep. I do enjoy 8 hours of sleep on vacation - much needed!
