The final day of our vacation was a blast!! We were expecting some snow/rain on Thursday, but we had no idea that we would be getting 3-4 inches of snow. Here are some photos of the snow from the pool:
After we finished swimming (and the snow quit falling outside), we packed the family into the car and we drove north to the temple. Amy and I each did some initiatory names and it was a great experience. I think there was over 5 inches of snow at the temple. I was really glad that we went. Amy mentioned that little baby Jarrett was moving like crazy the entire time she was in the temple - that shows you how thin the veil really is!
After we finished at the temple, we drove down to the outlet mall in Castle Rock and did a little shopping. We were there for less than an hour, but we had a productive time. I'm glad we made the stop.
Finally, we surprised the kids with Disney on Ice. They had no idea what we had planned for the evening and they were trying to guess all day long. When we drove up to the World Arena, they saw the sign for Disney on Ice and they all screamed! It was so much fun to surprise them. The tickets were surprisingly cheap and they were great seats (6th row up from the ice). Here are some fun photos that I snapped with my cell phone. I took at ton of photos with the SLR, but those are a little harder to pull into the blog.
