This year, the youth (i.e. Kari and I) were in charge of the trunk-or-treat for the Ward Halloween party. It was a really fun party. I think it wasn't as well attended as it could have been. Next year, we should do like other wards are doing and hold it on Tuesday night, the week of Halloween. Much less intrusive on families and we'll be able to do it at our own building!
By far, the games for the kids were the best this year than in previous years. The youth did a great job running the games and the kids had a blast. We gave away dumb little toys, but the kids loved them. Trunk-or-treat turned out awesome, as always. I do wish we had more folks turn out, but Friday nights are tough for some folks.
