Fun Family Day

The first official day back to work was filled with stressful meetings as I tried to cram a full day of work into 4 hours so that I could spend the rest of the day with the family. In the end, I was mostly successful, but I did attend 2 meetings via teleconference while I was with my kids and I had to make several other calls while we were bowling. However, I got things moving at work and I still had some pretty dedicated time to spend with the family.

Successes at work: Updated dates for the Lion programs and got alignment with the customer & organized material for meetings with Brocade on Thursday & Friday of this week.

Successes at home: playing with the family from 1pm until 10pm. We had a blast!! We had lunch together, then we went ice skating as a family. I didn't get to skate much since Jarrett woke up too early, but we still had fun. Then we did build-a-bear for Aubrey. After build-a-bear, I took Jantzen and Aubrey to the Summit where we bowled, had dinner, and played at the arcade. Amy took the rest of the family on a successful shopping trip. At 7pm, we met up again and watched Big Hero 6 together! It was a great day! Here's some photos of the fun family adventures of the day:
