Part 2 of the best zoo day EVER!:
- The tiger was literally playing in the water! It was so much fun to watch! I took tons of video and photos!
- This photo illustrates what an awesome day we had! Look at how happy Baby Jarrett is with Mom!
- Bear feeding time was pretty fantastic!
- The Loft was a new place at the zoo with some of the smaller animals. Jarrett loved the skunks - they were very active and luckily they didn't spray!!
On our way down from the top, we thought we should get a Hawaiian ICE and some cotton candy. Wow - we didn't expect what we got with the ICE!!
- The Baby Orangutan was so cute!! The primates all put on a great show!
- And the ultimate zoo experience we saved for last - when it wasn't so crowded. Feeding the Giraffes. So awesome!
- At the end of the day, we picked up the girls from Zoo camp. I was surprised that we actually stayed the entire day at the zoo. The time flew by and we just had a blast!
- Ashtyn and Alyssa both met some great friends and had a wonder camp!
At the end of the day, we took the skyride up to the top to play on the fun things they have up there. They didn't have a lot, but the view was fantastic. It was fun to ride over the zoo as well!
The feature of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo that stands out above the rest is the incredible view of Colorado Springs. It is such an awesome zoo!
We did a little rock climbing as well - super fun!
I really love these kids!!
