Amy and I had a really great Valentine's Day with the family again. As always, Amy does such an incredible job getting presents and making the day special for the kids. I was able to get flowers for the girls and I had ordered flowers for Amy earlier in the week. It turned out to be a really great day - topped with a special dinner at the 4th street ChopHouse in Loveland for just Amy and I. We were very surprised to see that the city of Loveland put on their first annual "Valentines Day Festival", complete with ice sculptures, live music and fireworks. They successfully drew a very large crowd that we did not expect to see when we went to dinner right there on 4th street in Loveland. It was pretty cool!
Another highlight of the day was spending the afternoon with Adam and Mary (and Trey & Sierra). We made valentine's day cookies with them - it turned out to be very relaxing and fun!
Here are photos of the fun day - V-day should always be on Saturday! Except for having to deal with another humiliating loss for Jantzen's basketball team - we had a blast!
