The kids had the day off on 2/13, so I decided to take the day off as well and enjoy the warm weather. We did a "double" day and hit both the Denver Museum and Nature & Science and the Zoo on the same day. We let Alyssa bring Gracie along and Ashtyn brought Payten along. It was really fun to have everyone with us. We really should make an annual tradition out of doing this. I really enjoyed getting out of work for a day and it is always very fun to just be with the kids. If I could change anything, it would be "infinite energy". Work seems to be taking a ton of my focus and strength - I really need to be saving some for the family!
Here are some fun photos of the day. At the museum, they had 2 special displays that we enjoyed - Whales and "The Silk Road" - it was really fun!
The kids really enjoyed the warm weather and the picnic lunch outdoors. Aubrey was a little scared of climbing the tree, but she got over it - she looks not very happy in the photo below (but she's trying to smile!)
To top off the really fun day, we went to the dinner theatre with Mary and Adam and we really enjoyed Hairspray. It wasn't as good as the one we saw up at Midtown, but it was pretty good. It was fun to hang out with Mary and Adam - that's for sure!
