Today, my sweet little Aubrey turned 5 years old. I can't believe it has been that long since she was born, on a snowy day if I remember correctly. She has always been my little baby!! Now we have Jarrett, so she's not the baby anymore, but I do really love that little girl!
For Aubrey's birthday, we were able to open a few presents in the morning before starting the day. That was fun and she was so very excited! Amy took her to the children's museum in Denver for the day, which she loved so much. She had never been, so it was a special treat.
At 4:30pm, we met up as a family at BJ's for dinner. We wanted the free pizookies for dessert. Dinner ended up costing a bunc because Ashtyn and Alyssa both ordered adult entrees. Eventually, it will be too expensive to take this family out for dinner! Here's a fun photo of the family at dinner:
Although I wasn't there, Amy was able to take some great photos of Aubrey at the children's museum. She looks like she was having a blast. Oh - and by the way - she is getting REALLY tall!
Amy was able to meet up with Jennica and Ben, so the outing was even more fun! So happy that they have moved to the area!
After dinner, I met the Priests over at the Harmony club to hit some golf balls. We got started a little late, but it was fun for us to hit some balls and play a few games. Afterwards, I took them to Dairy Queen since I got a call from Scott Nackos that he wanted to Bishop to intercept us so that he could speak with Kyle. The Bishop didn't show up, so we ended going back to my house to play basketball until the Bishop showed up. The boys love to play hoops at my house. It's kind of funny. I will enjoy it while it lasts...
