On Saturday morning, we drove up to Estes Park as a family and met Ryan, Jennica and Baby-Ben for a fun aftertoon in the mountains. We enjoyed a great picnic by the river and let the kids get their feet wet. Surprisingly, it was nearly 80F and the weather was perfect. We some some great elk and even played a round of mini-golf together. Here are some photos of the great afternoon:
After we got home, we met Shawn Murray at the Harmony Club for a round of golf. He was able to join us for 9 holes, but Ryan and I played 18. We played a scramble-type format and did pretty good. We were under par on the front nine, but we struggled putting on the back nine. I think we ended at about 3-over par. Ryan had a GREAT hole for the first hole - his birdie putt is in the first photo. Then I had a great shot later on, with a short little birdie putt. It was a fun round of golf. After finishing, we took the families out to Red Robin for dinner. It was pretty much a perfect Sunday!
