Today was definitely warmer than yesterday. Instead of taking the dogs running in -11F like I did yesterday, it was +11F, so 22 degrees warmer and I could actually tell. It was really a nice temperature outside. We did the full neighborhood, so I really enjoyed getting the extra exercise.
So far, two days into the week, I've done well with my diet, exercise, scripture study, prayers and journal writing. I just hope I can stick to it all week and hopefully make some very positive changes in my life. It feels good now, which is a very good thing. One thing is for sure - I've been drinking a ton of water and NO SODA for the past 3 days and I have really noticed a difference. First, I have to pee a bunch more, but the real improvement has been in how I feel. I feel like I actually have more energy and I even feel more alert.
Now to the title - I do feel like I'm getting back into the groove a bit. I've been able to meet with all of my managers now and that has been really good. I've also met with a few leads, but I want to meet with some more to really solidify things. There are many staffing changes at work that need to be made to support all of the new 16nm design wins as well as the existing 28nm work. It will be a very challenging year, but I think we will be able to make things happen. My biggest worry is that we may end up winning even more business and if we do, I'm not sure how we will be able to make it happen.
Tonight was Mutual and it ended up pretty good. I ended up being in charge of rallying the youth to pull together a skit for Standard's night on the 18th of this month. I think we pulled it together pretty well, but it was definitely challenging! (Like herding cats). I do like working with our youth though. They are a bunch of fun and we all laughed and had a good time tonight, but we were also serious enough that we made some good progress on things.
Aubrey wants to sleep now and she wants to cuddle with me, so I should stop writing for tonight.
