Although not quite as fun as the day in Pisgah Forest, we still had a great day on Saturday. Ryan and Jennica made it up to North Carolina from Atlanta and they met us at Chimney Rock. Dad went along with us and we really enjoyed the afternoon getting to the top (via elevator) and then walking down. It was REALLY crowded though - wow!! I guess July is a pretty bad month to go see that attraction. I couldn't believe how many people were there. Again - I will try to add some photos once I download the SLR pictures.
After our trip up to Chimney Rock, where the view was incredible, we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, near Ryan & Jennica's hotel. We actually went back to the hotel first for a little break - needed to let baby Ben take a nap as well as Jennica rest a bit (she's expecting in December). After dinner (where I ate WAY too much), we played miniature golf as a family. It was really great. Here are the photos of our evening at Tropical Gardens on Patton Ave in Asheville (I have some fond memories of this place!)
