"Perfect Storm" of customer meetings

It's Thursday morning, I'm on a plane back from Sacramento to Denver and I'm just fully exhausted. I can't believe how crazy it has been this past week. I think Greg and Frank are used to this level of customer interaction, but it has really been nuts for me. I've documented most of the week, but I will take a few minutes to touch on yesterday's meetings:

  • 8:00am - 9:30am - I joined Prabhu's staff meeting in California. The main topic for this first hour was to align on the staffing spreadsheet and plans. There's still some work to be done here, but it was good to sync up. Honestly, I really hope that I don't end up reporting to Prabhu. In fact, I really like working for Greg and I hope we can keep that in place - it would make me feel a bunch better!
  • 9:30am - 11:30am - I enjoyed the drive up to Roseville, CA. It was a great little drive and it was nice to have some time to think and listen to nice music.
  • 11:30am - 1:30pm - I met up with Stephen Clarke and El Azteca in Roseville. It's a great little Mexican restaurant and the food was awesome. After lunch, we finalized the slides and got ready for the discussion with HP.
  • 2:00pm - 5:00pm - 16FF+ Technology Roadmap discussion with HP. Prabhu and Anand (from India) joined us for the discussion and it turned out really well. I slipped a couple of times and mentioned "Lion" and "Nighthawk" as well as a slide that I presented had "Elway" on the slide. Oops!!! Good thing that I used codes names or chip names - they didn't get too much from this, but I screwed up - oops! However, in general, I think the meeting went really well and I was happy to be in a position to fully represent Avago. I pretty much did the entire discussion.
  • 5:30pm - 9:30pm - Dinner with HP at High Steaks Steakhouse. This restaurant was actually at a Casino, but the food was awesome. I will say that I ate WAY too much and I was really tired for most of the meeting. I need some sleep! I did get about 7 hours last night, the most I've had all week, but I'm still very tired!
  • Here are some photos of the restaurant last night:
