A busy, but nice Sunday

Every Sunday seems to be a lot busier than I would like (with the exception of last Sunday, when we met Mary, Adam's girlfriend). Here was the schedule today:

  • 8:00am - make DVD for Amy - she had sharing time
  • 8:15am - make super-breakfast for the family (Amy bought sausage - YUM)
  • 9:00am - Ward council - good meeting, but I started feeling bad again - stomach is not doing well...
  • 10:30am - At church - Amy played the organ
  • 11:00am - Sacrament meeting - good meeting as it was Courtney Hopkins' homecoming
  • 1:00pm - Priests quorum - I taught the lesson - it was really fun - taught about having clean language
  • 2:30pm - arrived at home - everyone got a little snack
  • 3:30pm - took a quick nap
  • 4:10pm - had dinner - left-over's from Saturday night's BBQ
  • 4:30pm - went home teaching with Brother Stocks - great visits with the Greene's and Brother Johnson
  • 6:15pm - arrived home - met the family going for a walk. Visited with Huff family for 30 min
  • 7:00pm - left for Special Stake Priesthood Meeting. Chris Lewis is the new 2nd counselor in Stake Presidency. I really love that man and I let him know it directly. He is a huge example for me. I have much to learn from him.
  • 8:30pm - arrived home - helped put kids to bed
  • 9:30pm - went to bed.

Yep - it was a crazy day!! But - I felt the spirit multiple times, so I call it a success!
