Ashtyn's Final Middle School Orchestra Concert

My sweet daughter Ashtyn absolutely loves music and I hope that she will love it for the rest of her life!  She's a great little girl with a very strong personality and strong convictions.  She is driven and works hard at things she enjoys.  She's also doing better at being responsible around the home as well.  Frankly, I'm very proud of this little girl and her many accomplishments.

Ashtyn wants to conduct professional orchestra's as a career and she has the such a driven personality and attitude towards that - she may very well be successful and live out her dream!

Tonight, she performed her final concert with the middle school.  She had some solos and duets and she was even given the opportunity to conduct one of the songs.  She received two awards, one of which was the annual "Director's Award".  This final award includes having her name emblazoned on a plaque to permanently memorialize her career at Severance Middle School as a member of the Orchestra and one of the best cellists to ever play there.  Again - Amy and I are super proud of her.  One of the teachers sent us some photos of Ashtyn tonight:
