It was a very happy Mother's Day 2017! Alyssa spent most of the day on Saturday putting together an awesome scavenger hunt for Amy. She and I had both ordered some fun necklaces for Amy and she enjoyed receiving them as a part of the scavenger hunt. Here are some fun photos of the morning:
We also enjoyed a yummy "super breakfast" to celebrate Mother's Day. My first church meeting wasn't until 11:30am, so we really did enjoy the morning at home with the family!
At church, we had an awesome sacrament meeting - Sister Iorg and Brother Stocks both spoke and they each did a fantastic job. We had 219 people in Sacramaent meeting, which is really good - we've been as low as 149 since the ward split in February.
To celebrate Mother's Day, we served brownies and ice cream - see photos below:
After church, Adam & Mary and Ryan & Jennica came over for Steak and Salmon - it was an awesome meal! It was also really fun to have everyone over to enjoy the evening together. Frankly - it was really nice to be able to enjoy a full Sunday without so many meetings!!
