Redwood Vacation 2017 - Day 4

Memorial Day on vacation - this is probably the first time we've ever had vacation this early and we may never do it again.  We've always wanted to jet out on vacation as soon as school is out, but we realized it is overly hectic and stressful.  I think we need some post-school down-time for a week, then we can take off for vacation.  In the future, we will plan a little differently.

However, even with the stress, we are having a blast on this vacation.  Although we've driven through many redwood forests on vacation, we finally went into the forest for a hike among the giants. 

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

 

   

The rest of the day, we just chilled at the house, grilled some steaks and then visited the river down by the house.  It was a very nice and relaxing Memorial Day 2017!
