Today was like most days - way too fast with way too much to do! First thing this morning, I went to visit Dr. Angie Burns, my Nurse Practitioner for my back. We had a good visit. She asked me to take my Relafin twice a day for a few months to see if it can improve the pain in my knees and joints. I will try it out and see how it works.
After visiting with Angie, I snuck over to Dr. Van Tassel's office where Aubrey was being looked at for some pain in one of her canine teeth. They took an X-ray and they think she must have bonked her tooth somewhere since there was no sign of a cavity or any other issue. Here's a fun little photo that I took of her at the Dentist. She was watching "Cars" on the overhead TV, and she looked so cute sitting in the big Dentist chair. I really love my Aubrey Bear!
After a pretty normal day at work, I went home a little early to meet Jantzen at his music class at 4:15pm. It was very enjoyable to sit with the other parents (all Moms) and watch Jantzen perform. He does a pretty good job, his confidence is better, and he really loves music. He's a really great kid!
Amy took Ashtyn and Alyssa to go see the latest Hobbit movie, so I took Jantzen and Aubrey out to Barnes & Noble and then to Cracker Barrel for dinner. It was really great food and we had a ton of fun together. Here's a great photo of Jantzen & Aubrey at the Cracker Barrel:
This was also my third day on the "new diet". I can't say that my pain is any better, but I have definitely felt better in general. I don't feel so bloated and I definitely feel like I'm losing some weight. On Sunday, I was at 227lbs and today, I tipped the scales at 219. I really want to be at around 195, but I'm not sure I can sustain that weight very well. Seems like 205 is a better long-term goal for me.
