Although I planned to take Friday off to spend time with Tracie, Greg's crazy assignment from Thursday morning left me pretty busy, working from home. We ended up getting about 2 inches of snow while I worked, then it turned to a heavy rain that kept doing all day long. We got a ton of moisture, which was really good. Also, after about 7 hours of work, I did finally update my spreadsheet and get the data that Greg was after. It actually felt really good to re-vamp the spreadsheet. There was a ton of things to fix and it worked out really well.
While working from home, I did get to talk to Tracie a bunch. She ended up taking several different naps and seemed to be a little uncomfortable. However, she did enjoy spending a little time with the dogs. Here's a great look with her on the coach with the dogs and Aubrey:
It initially took Aubrey a little while to warm up to Tracy, but in the end, she really loved being with her Aunt Tracie.
Tracie and I had a really great time at the Beatles concert at Mid-Town Arts Center. We ended up getting free up-grades since they messed up our ticket prices and that was really nice. We both order the prime rib and WOW - it was the biggest piece of meat that I have ever been served before. I'm thinking it was close to a 24 oz slab of cow! Wow! It tasted great and was done to perfection! Here's a couple of shots from the concert:
The concert was completely different than the previous week. They definitely tailor the set based on the audience requests as many of the songs were different and it made the concert that much more fun. Unfortunately, many of the jokes were the same, though, so it wasn't quite as funny! :) Tracie requested 3 different songs, but none of her songs were selected. I'm thinking that our waitress forgot to turn in her requests! Too bad!
Tracie really seemed to enjoy the concert, but I was surprised that she wanted to leave shortly after intermission. She was really tired, but she also seems to have a very short attention span. I think it would be really tough to be around her all the time - she definitely has some sort of ADD!
