Today was an incredibly fun day with the family. We are staying in room 306 of the Residence Inn in Fort Collins. This morning, we enjoyed swimming in the pool after breakfast, then we spent about an hour getting everyone cleaned up and ready for the day. The chlorine in the hot tub here is VERY strong and has caused some rashes on a couple of the kids. We are going to have to be careful if we swim again.
Jantzen and I took off at about 11:30am to get our haircuts over with. We always go to Great Clips in Front Range Village. They do a pretty good job. Mine is a little shorter than I care for, but it was getting long, so I'm still happy about it. After the haircuts, we flew over to the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland and we watched the Harlem Globetrotters. The show is only a couple of hours long, but it is a real blast. After the game, we did a little shopping at Sam's and Kohl's before picking up Aubrey. Jantzen, Aubrey and I then enjoyed watching the Muppets movie together. It was really a fun evening with the little kids. After the movie, we watched TV and enjoyed Noodles for dinner.
The basement project is moving along well, but the house really stinks right now. Amy stopped by last night and this morning and the house smells horrible. They have done the sealing and they will be doing the lacquering today. We are getting really close, though. We should be ready for the carpet to go in by early next week, which is really exciting!
