It's Thursday morning and I have been home all week long! It has been so very nice! It has been a pretty uneventful week, but that has been very nice! I'm sitting in the office after a nice morning run with the dogs and I must say that I'm feeling pretty good right now. I do need to lose about 20lbs still, but other than that, I feel great. My AS arthritis disease is not even bothering me all that bad right now, so that is a bonus as well.
Monday was a pretty good day. It was pretty uneventful except that I had a ton of meetings all day! I wrote about FHE in my last entry.
Tuesday was a very long day, but it was a great day. I had meetings all day and I even moved my staff meeting from Thursday AM to Tuesday PM so that I could tackle a few things. Tuesday night was actually pretty fun with the youth. We did a little more training on Quorum presidency meetings, then we planned taking the sacrament to Brother Smith. Finally, we finished planning our campout and then we took the boys shopping. Here are a few photos of the boys at the grocery store. Needless to say, it was pretty amusing!
Yesterday, I met up with Amy to look at some lights for the basement. It was pretty fun to spend some time with her and Aubrey. When they dropped me back off at work, I invited Aubrey to stay with me and that was really fun. She watched Frozen in my cube while I kept working. I was able to be productive, but we had so much fun being together. She is SUPER cute!
When I got home from work yesterday, the granite countertops in the kitchen had been installed and were finished. They look AWESOME! I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with how great they turned out. It really makes the kitchen look awesome! They won't be ready to stain and lacquer this weekend, like they hoped, but we are getting close!!
