Well, it is Friday morning, just 3 days since my bone graft surgery and so far, everything seems to be doing well. I did have one of the stitches fall out this morning, but that's happened in the past. I have definitely taken things a lot easier this past week than in previous weeks, and I'm hoping that will help. I did really well with staying on cold foods for the first couple of days. I just hope that the healing goes well so that I can move on from this dreadful experience!
Things are heating up with the LSI intergration. I've been able to get a little visibility into some of the things that are happening and I must say that I'm not too excited about it right now. There's seems to be too many LSI managers that are keeping their seats at the table and the Avago folks are being asked to sit in the background. I'm not sure at all that I'm going to like working for this company in the long run, which is very concerning to me. I've really loved working for Avago throughout my career and this could be a huge downer! I just want to maintain ownership and accountability with my new job!
I need to get back to work, but I wanted to quickly add a few photos from this past week. Here are some fun photos of Aubrey playing outside as well as some photos of the basement. We are only one month away from having little Baby Jarrett and there's a ton of work to do to move into the new basement. We are getting a little impatient with where things are at right now.
Here's the pics of the playhouse (still needs to be stained and painted) and the entertainment center. I'm really please with how both have turned out, but there's still a bunch to do to get this basement finished!
Finally, here's a fun photo that I took on the way to taking the dogs to the kennel this morning. We scheduled them to be at the kennel so that we could be out of the house for the final painting and lacquering step, but they are behind. Unfortunately, we still needed to take them to the kennel since we had to pay anyway. Kind of crappy!!! But, the dogs are basically on vacation! They love the kennel!
